Since 2004, the Nordic Bloom team has structured and managed alternative investment projects totalling more than USD 1 billion, initiated by Søren Truelsen and Christian Stig Møller.
The venture part was added in 2014, when Søren Truelsen formed an investment company together with Torben Mauritzen. To date, the company has invested in 5 different venture funds and more than tripled its initial capital commitments.
Today, Nordic Bloom has established 5 additional investment companies with separate investments in 5 funds, and Peter has joined the circle of partners. In total, commitments totalling over DKK 450 million have been obtained from over 100 investors, both private and professional.
We have achieved this through first-class US venture funds/products, which are characterised by extreme selection and ditto risk diversification among "First Quartile" funds. We are very humble and proud to have exclusive rights to these venture funds/products in the Nordic countries.
At Nordic Bloom, you will be part of an investment network that has co-invested in its own funds since its inception in 2014 and has a strong community of interest with its investors through its cost structure.
Based on prevailing megatrends, this network is constantly searching for attractive alternative investments that, through rigorous selection and good diversification, can ensure an attractive and risk-adjusted net return.
Members meet a number of times a year for Nordic Bloom Events, which are typically held in the facilities at Tuborg Harbour. At these events you can listen to relevant and interesting speakers, network with other members and even enjoy a light refreshment.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Nordic Bloom's performance speaks for itself.
"To create the preferred Nordic investment platform for venture funds and alternative investments that enables investors to achieve an attractive, risk-adjusted return."
Nordic Bloom is a partner-driven business.
Everyone on the team is passionate about investments. Some have dedicated an entire working life to it.
DKK 750,000 is the legal minimum amount to invest in this type of fund. This is a requirement to ensure that investors are qualified and understand the level of risk.
No, you are free to choose to invest a higher amount if you wish. However, the total size of the fund is a natural limit and allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payments are made on an ongoing basis as the fund makes its investments - typically spread over 3-4 years. For example, a total investment of DKK 1 million can be distributed in instalments of DKK 250,000-350,000 annually, depending on the structure of the fund.
Payouts typically begin 1-2 years after the investment period has ended. The timing and amount depend on the fund's performance, market developments and other conditions. There is no guarantee of dividends and the investment should be viewed as long-term.
