It has been announced that Alphabet, the parent company of Google, is buying WIZ for USD 32B in the company's largest acquisition to date. Founded in 2020, WIZ offers advanced cybersecurity and software for cloud solutions. The acquisition supports Google's continued strategy to strengthen its security in the cloud sector. Although the deal is still subject to official regulatory approval, it is clear that this acquisition will give Google the opportunity to provide even better security solutions at a time when cybersecurity is of paramount importance. Google already has a strong position in the cloud solutions market and with WIZ on board, they will be able to offer even more secure and reliable solutions to their customers.
